Exel Air aim is to give the least possible resistance for quick ball movement and executing quick shots. An average of 20% less air resistance than traditional blades
The lower blade rim is ribbed – a concept borrowed from Exel ICE. The principle at work is simple. The less material or surface touches the ground, the less friction there will be. Less friction means quicker movement.
Incorporated with Double Rim System (DRS) creates a stable and stiff heel for maximising swing speed to launch powerful shots.
To reduce the overall weight of the blade, more holes were made at the heel. The two beams running down as a continuation from the blade neck have a recessed centre groove. This trick allows the blade the remains light from the additional holes created without compromising the blade’s structural integrity.
The gap of the holes in the blade are bigger to allow more air to pass through. Thus, create less air resistance.
